Another large scale painting (1.14x1.16m) depicting a scene in Mauritius before industrialisation in the early 80's. The scene shows a simpler life with an elderly woman working amongst hens and wood representing the necessities in life. The hens, wood and old buildings are part of her life and represent a life when man was free.
