Steve Hall, an English ex-pat in Spain has had a very profitable life. He worked hard and earned well. There are of course millions of people worldwide who work hard with no such return. Steve has concentrated on the plight of the 45 million refugees worldwide forced from their homes with nothing but the bag on their shoulders (if given such a liberty) and forced to find shelter.
Combining with his love of Football, Steve has ventured out with a bicycle and satchell and has decided to cycle between all 92 football clubs in the UK. With a tiny budget each day to cover emergency expences, he is scrounging food and shelter, sleeping in youth hostels, just like those whos fight he is telling us about.
Since leaving, Steve's own belongings were destroyed in a fire, he spent some time in hospital after a nasty accident and with just a handful of clubs yet to visit, he is still going strong.
Yovina and Simon met up with his reception arranged by Carolyn Willians in Morgans Hotel in Swansea and are honoured that he accepted our offer of bed, shower and dinner for the night. Being a vegetarian he enjoyed some of Mauritius's finest cuisine including Gato Piment, home made samosas and Egg curry.
Good luck Steve, the final leg is coming.
